Jami m. Moore

Jami M. Moore is the President and second generation Owner of JEM Tech Group. In her 21 years, annual sales have quadrupled despite economic times, and has expanded the company both locally and deeper into the Midwest. In 2013, JEM moved into a larger facility to accommodate her growing staff. Jami attributes the growth of JEM to great customer relationships, referrals, her dedicated team, and a never-ending commitment to knowing the future path of the industry.

Jami has had significant recognition in the business community. Some of the achievements include: SBA Emerging Leaders Graduate and Ambassador, NAWBO Greater Detroit Top 10 Business Women Owner Rainmaker Award, Crain’s Detroit Business “40 under 40”, named Top 100 Women Owned and Diversity Owned Businesses in Michigan from 2005 through 2012 by Diversity Business.com magazine, 2012 U.S. Small Business Administration’s Michigan Jeffrey Butland Family-Owned Business of the Year Award and Crain’s Detroit Business Salute to Entrepreneurs.

Jami graduated from Michigan State University with a dual degree in Marketing and German. Jami is very involved with the community, volunteering her time with the CEED encouraging other female business owners to go after their dreams of entrepreneurship. She is also active with Big Brothers Big Sisters and Susan G. Komen. Jami is a member of the Michigan Council of Women in Technology, AFCOM, the Women’s Business Enterprise Council – Great Lakes, a founding Board Member and Vice President for Membership for the 7 x 24 Exchange- Southeast Michigan Chapter.

Jami puts her heart and soul into JEM Tech Group, often competing with much larger companies. But, helping customers solve their technology challenges and become more energy efficient makes a difference every day.

Senior Technology Consultant

Jim Borland

Jim came to JEM in June 2006. He began in IT sales/marketing in 1988 with Medical Practice Management software and the necessary hardware to support it. This included both private practice, as well as, hospital based solutions with the focus being on (EMR) electronic medical records. As a Senior Technical Consultant, Jim works with our customers to provide products and services that will allow their IT infrastructures to operate more efficiently. Jim enjoys working in the data center environment because of the ongoing enhancements to technology and the fact that there is always something new and interesting to learn. Some of the things that Jim likes the most about working with data center professionals include their down-to-earth outlook and appreciation for new ideas and their willingness to listen. He is diligent in doing research so that he has the correct answers to help his customers with their challenges. When asked why he likes working at JEM, Jim replied, “I like the supportive team atmosphere”. Jim is a Board Member and the Membership Director for AFCOM in the Greater Detroit area.

Senior Technology Consultant

Shelley Deane

Shelley started with JEM in February 2008 and has been working with technology for over 25 years. Her beginnings involved sales of 286 PC’s and networks. Now, Shelley uses cost-efficient energy savings solutions to help customers re-energize their data centers and also has a knack for customizing server racks and large scale UPS systems for customer specific projects. Shelley enjoys working in an environment that provides an opportunity to grow, both personally and professionally. Most importantly, she says she likes coming into work because of her co-workers and clients. When she is not working, you can find Shelley spending quality time with her grandkids or partaking in outdoor activities such as kayaking, playing tennis or riding her motorcycle.

Federal Technology Consultant

Kristen Jenkins

Kristen joined JEM in 2015, bringing with her 18 years of experience with being the CEO of her own business. After working with children for over 30 years, she decided to challenge herself to explore other careers. Kristen moved on to a sales position and sold Personal/Commercial Insurance for over 3 years. She loves building relationships with her customers and helping them with everyday solutions to their problems. With help from Jami and the JEM team, she has expanded her knowledge base and found a love for technology. She is very involved in the community by volunteering her time at the local high school booster club and through church. Kristen loves to travel with her family and explore new places throughout the country.

Senior Technology Consultant (Northeastern Office)

Annette Bakic

Annette started with JEM in 2017. She brings over 30 years of industry experience with expertise in end-to-end rack enclosure systems, command and control technical furniture solutions, and data center optimization strategies. She has developed an extensive and loyal customer base by working closely with I/T, Facilities and Project Managers in development of vendor-neutral solutions to meet site-specific challenges. Annette continues to enjoy her lifelong passion for horses by actively training and competing with her two Morgans in the dressage ring.

Senior Support Specialist

Dave Lozon

Dave joined the JEM team in 2019. He brings over a decade of experience offering support through a cutting-edge, technology driven medical OEM. Not only is Dave very attentive when it comes to customers, you may notice his positive disposition to be very refreshing. He takes pride in growing his customer relationships providing solutions to best fit their needs. In his downtime, you will find Dave and his significant other outdoors. Owning several acres of land keeps them busy all year round, but he wouldn’t have it any other way.

Sales Support

Denise

Denise is our Sales Support Guru and is an integral part of JEM. She handles all incoming calls, does all of the purchasing for the company, keeps our vendor and customer databases current, processes purchase orders, sends quotes and bids and negotiates pricing for JEM’s customers. This multitasking expert also replies to and manages all post sales activities to make sure our customers’ orders are received on time and as expected and to ensure that JEM’s customers are 100% satisfied from beginning to end. Next time you thank your Technology Consultant for a job well done; please remember that a great portion of the work that went into your order was done by this wonderful individual!

Finance

Kelly

Kelly manages the Finance Department and she is also our Office Manager. With over 30 years of experience, she is responsible for all financial matters such as accounts payable/receivable, payroll and credit. She also manages our vendor relationships. Kelly started in April 2001 and still enjoys working with her sisters. She says the staff is also like family and feels that the business/personal dynamic works very well under one roof.

Marketing Specialist

Christie Rosso

Christie has been at JEM since November of 2013. She has been in the marketing field for over 20 years, working for a variety of industries. At JEM, she is managing our marketing projects, including Social Media and our website, and is always looking for new and exciting ways to market JEM. Christie is also responsible for coordinating our presence at various events and supporting the sales team in a variety of ways. She loves challenges and jumps at the opportunity to do something outside of her knowledge base. Christie and her family enjoy living life to the fullest and exploring new adventures. She has a love and appreciation for the great outdoors and enjoys camping and hiking in the U.P. She also enjoys photography, bowling, baking, crafting and traveling.

Service and Installation

Nick

Nick is the Project Manager for our Service Team. The services he manages includes our installation crews for on-site builds of technical furniture, server and telecom racks, containment projects and computer room cages. Also included are computer room floor cleanings and any other services/projects. Nick has been with us since June 2006, and he also manages our shipping and receiving department and handles some of our internal IT needs. Nick enjoys the comfortable atmosphere at the office and the camaraderie amongst the staff. He appreciates working with our customers because of his personal interest in technology and the ability to observe the “heart” of their operations.
